PROMOTIONAL APPROACH What is actually promotional approach? Promotional approach means how people will subscribe, purchase, request, order or buy our business services. This is important as a follow-up after we have bring people coming into our website, because we can't leave them just like that, we might lose them. So, this promotional approach is important because it will give the view whether our business is profitable or not. This is how it works.
You can develop a website that would not make visitors become confused to find any information. A simple example would be as my e-advertising website CLICK HERE TO VIEW. I write related information in the web page about e-advertising. Not many links are displayed, except the links to see examples. In a business website, don't put too many links. That would make the visitor become dizzy and confused. Worse thing comes when the internet connection is slower, going forward and back takes time. Finally, they will click the ‘X' button and exit your website. I would suggest that you don't use the BMP format for any image. BMP format consumes a lot of space. It would be better if you change the format into .jpg, .jpeg or .gif. Those formats are the only suitable formats for a website. Please do not use bigger image size because it will be hard for loading purposes. If you still need to use big images, you can learn how to make image splitting. You can find for free software on the Internet. It's FREE. Please type “image splitter” on the any search engines and you will find the lists. Else, you can try http://www.webattack.com . The most important thing, provide FREE GIFTS for your customers. Don't be too stingy. A business would not be interesting if a customer only gets the stuffs he buys for himself. You can make your business becomes attractive by providing any free gifts, so that you will have loyal, continuous and repeating customers. You won't feel regret because it's for the sake of your business growth and stability too. Why don't you try to invest a bit for the free gifts? Other than providing free gifts to your customers, you can also give SURPRISE FREE GIFTS. You can do this during the shipping of the items. You can place postcards, or anything interesting. The visitors would be excited to receive the gifts, and they will spread the good things to others. We should know how to keep our customers' loyalty. I am telling you a story based on my experience as a seller at my late father's grocery shop. I have learnt a lot of business techniques during that moment. There is a right way how to write the price. You can make it written as discounted price, just as shown at my E-Advertising website. There is one written as RM200 so the promotion would seem so amazing (now my secret is spilled out). But actually at E-Advertising , the original price is more costly. If you don't believe it, you can try others. It is also an important key to build customers' confidence towards our business. You can start this by providing a testimonial corner/space. If you want to create testimonials by your own, don't make it too-shown as lying. Supposedly the testimonials are the truth, written by customers. If a photo can be submitted together with the testimonials, that would be very nice, plus the quoting individuals are from multiple levels of ages, races, and consisting of both sexes. Not even restricting it to those famous people. Maybe a lorry or car driver would write it as “Alley's handmade dried snacks can make me feeling full for 3 days and nights.” – Quoted by: Mr. Abu, A lorry driver of PETRONAS fuel. That would only be an example. You can collect testimonials by providing one corner for guestbook. That would be obvious people are quoting them as written. They are not created by us, because we can see the IP addresses are shown and used for the tracking purposes and proofs. And lastly (supposedly it should be more), but this is the thing I can say for now. You must develop and provide the form for orders to be made, so that it would be easier for anyone. Don't just give your phone numbers, email addresses or home addresses, then write message as: “Please contact me by email at example@example.com ”. If I become a visitor, that would not attract me to make any orders or purchasing. It would be a very tedious task to log in into our email accounts, composing sentences and submit the emails. We would become uninterested for it because it takes time. So we can provide the order forms or any other contact/feedback forms; so that we could contact the interested customers again to give any follow-ups.
